Who we are

GlossyOS ("we", "us") provides booking and customer-management software for mobile auto mobile detailers and auto shops. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights over it.

Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password hash, business profile (name, city, phone, social handles, logo).
  • Customer data you upload: the contact and vehicle details your customers submit through your booking page.
  • Usage data: pages visited, errors, and basic device info for reliability and security.
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor; we store only the subscription status and last 4 of the card.

How we use it

  • To operate the service: scheduling, reminders, dashboards.
  • To send transactional email (booking confirmations, password resets, receipts).
  • To detect abuse and improve reliability.
  • We do not sell personal data and we do not use customer data for advertising.

Sharing

We share data only with the sub-processors required to run the product: cloud hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement.

Retention

We keep account and customer data while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@glossyos.com; we remove data within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain it (e.g. tax records).

Your rights

Depending on your location (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email support@glossyos.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and audited. You are responsible for keeping your account password safe.

Children

GlossyOS is not directed to anyone under 16. Do not use the service if you are under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
